NEW!!! Mental Health First Aid Course

NEW!!! Mental Health First Aid Course.

We are pleased to introduce a new one-day course where you can train as a Mental Health First Aid Champion – Wednesday 7th June.

This internationally recognised course, accredited to Mental Health England also meets HSE (Health and Safety Executive) mandatory requirements.

The Mental Health First Aid Champion course teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. It won’t teach you to be a therapist, but it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond even, in a crisis.

Stress, anxiety and depression are the biggest cause of sickness absence in our society. 33% of the UK workforce have been formally diagnosed with a mental health condition at some point in their lives. It costs UK employers an estimated £33-42billion per year.

Most managers feel that employee wellbeing is their responsibility, but just 30% have taken part in mental health training.

This course represents a move forward in providing the first line of support to people and a holistic approach to mental health support.

Join our us on Wednesday 7th June for this course or get in touch to enquire about future dates and bespoke courses tailored to your workplace, employees or specific industry needs.
